I accidentally unplugged my self built computer tower a week ago. There has been no problems with the tower in the 6 years I have had it. There was a static discharge at the plug and receptacle of the power tray it was a attached too and the computer turned off.
I plugged the tower back in and the case lights/fans and power supply fans did not start up. However a green light is on on my motherboard which signifies that the Motherboard is getting power.
I left the computer off and unplugged for 3 days and tried again plugging into the wall not the power strip. Same results as the first.
I left it for another 4 days and tried again with a different power cord. Same results.
I'm now opening it up and cleaning everything off. I see no gross destruction. Someone please give me guidance on this one.
