I want to upgrade ddr4 ram

Hi, i would like to ask about the ddr4 sodimm with low voltage. Does it stack with the usual ddr4 ? I basically want to upgrade my laptop RAM to 8gb but getting confused to use which one. Please help me. My laptop type is MSI PE62 RD

What is your laptop used for? If you play games on it, UPGRADE. If you only work and write stuff, KEEP IT.

If you want to do so:
1. Find sticks with the same amount of memory than your actual stick has (e.g: 4GB-4GB, 8GB-8GB)
2. They must be at the same frequencies (e.g: 2400mhz-2400mhz, 2666mhz-2666mhz)
3. Should be the same model, because warranty voids if you use it with another stick

So you should grab a memory kit and sell your old DDR4 card on eBay.
