I recently purchased an EVGA 1050ti. As you may know, the 1050ti can be powered without any external power, using the 75 watts from the motherboard. My PSU is only 240w, and the 1050ti says "Recommended 300 watt PSU". Will I be fine using this PSU, should I buy a new one. I'm kind of on a tight budget so I need help please

@darkbreeze Ok give me a second, and I will open that computer and get the model number, and also here are my pc specs
CPU: Intel i5-6400
GPU (Current): NVIDIA GT 730
RAM:8GB
Hard Drive: 1TB
It does not give the motherboard model, as it is a prebuilt dell computer.

It should work but you will be running that 240W PSU at a high load. It's probably not that good a PSU to start with and it's going to go downhill from there. So it would be a good idea to budget for a new power supply when you can.

If you aren't playing demanding games, you're better off getting a 1050 and a new PSU, rather than spending everything on the 1050 Ti.

I think I have the model number. Most of the label is Chinese or Taiwanese (Not so sure). The model number is "B240NM-00". If this is not the right one there are a couple of other strings of characters, just let me know. Also thanks for the help, I am 14 and it is hard to come by nice and helpful. If this powersupply is bad, can you recommend me any power supplies on amazon?
