I have an Asus Z 170 Pro gaming motherboard
I7 6700 k
GTX 1070
Corsair h100i v2
16 GB of RAM
1 SSD and two hard drives
And an EVGA 750 G2.
Every time I restart my computer it shows the Asus logo and tells me to press delete or F2 to go to the BIOS settings but won't let me actually get to it and the boot device LED is on. I'm not sure what I do right but sometimes when I turn it on it will immediately send me to the BIOS then I can tell it to boot from my SSD. But every time I restart the same problem arises and I have to start messing with my computer until it goes into the BIOS.

Yes, for sure. You definitely want to do that. Also, in light of what you said, you probably also want to go into the bios and set the boot order so that your Windows boot manager or the primary drive, depending on what OS and boot partition type you are using, are set first in the boot order.

Generally, if you are using Windows 10, you want the OS boot manager set to first in the boot order but if that isn't an option then whatever drive your OS is installed on should be set first.
How long has this system been in use with all of the current hardware?

Did you recently ADD anything new at all?

Update bios lately? At all?

Might be a really good place to start is making sure you have the latest bios installed.

You are aware of this?:

So actually I just figured out what it was doing my mouse bungee has USB ports on it and I guess the motherboard was assuming I was booting from that. So I guess every time I restart my computer I have to make sure it's not plugged in otherwise it'll try to boot from it even though there's no USB connected to it. Still a little strange cuz I've only had this problem ever since I got my new case. But installing the BIOS updates probably still a good idea thanks! :)
