My gtx 970 runs hot

So i just downloaded asus gpu tweak ii and i started playing with settings and now if i game for 5 mins its burning and its extremely hot. 70C. Before I downloaded this app it would take 2 hours to get hot. What do I do should, I just uninstall GPU tweak (will that reset settings????) or what are the stock settings for a GTX 970 asus turbo.

You could uninstall Asus Gpu Tweak ii if you are unable to reset back to default values or settings. If that doesn't help, uninstall and reinstall your graphics card drivers and that will clear any custom settings. 70C is not too hot for a graphics card.

70C is fine for a graphics card. The danger zone is above 90C and that card can get near 100C before it throttles/shuts down. Graphics cards run hot especially OC or turbo boosted ones.

If you are overclocking be careful and don't let the GPU get near the 90C mark.
