So I've had my system up and running for about 8 months now and I was just using it recently until it randomly shut down. I turn it back on and it won't POST anymore and I get the error code 0F. I've tried pretty much everything to try to fix it and nothing is working. I've tried clearing CMOS, reflashing BIOS, taking it apart with only CPU, one stick of RAM, and the PSU, checked to see if there were any bent CPU pins which there were none. They all still produce the 0F error code. I know the error code says "Microcode not loaded" but I have no idea what that means and how to even fix that. I'm running out of options and losing hope of fixing it. Hope someone is able to help me fix my problem.

Microcode is used for the processor allowing it to boot. Specifically needed when you update the CPU to a newer gen. Your mobo supports the 7700K out of the box though. I'd update the bios to the latest one using asus flashback. All you need is power going to the board.

I've tried that so many times but it still won't work. I load up the new BIOS correctly, renamed it correctly, and plug it into the right port on the motherboard. The blue BIOS button starts to flash and it takes a while but then it disappears signaling completion. I turn it back on and the error just goes back to 0F like nothing even happened.

Yeah... I'm thinking either your CPU or motherboards ROM has taken a dump. Looking online, the description of the error code is rather vague. If I understand correctly, the CPU and motherboard both have a microcode and they handshake thus allowing it to POST?

It's my motherboard. I think my motherboard just died and won't even power on now. Going to have to replace it now :/. It's so strange because it was working fine without any problems for a long time. It just suddenly shut down one night and started giving me the error. I wasn't even gaming at the time just light web browsing.
