Duplicating my monitor screen and TV cause me to lose colors on my TV

So I got a gtx 1080 ti and I'm trying to duplicate my monitor which is using a DVI connection to my TV which is using an HDMI connection.

When I do this, there seems to be colors on my TV that are missing, for example things that should be blue instead appear green, etc.

Having both of them work individually (extended) is no problem, it's only when I want to duplicate the display on each of them.

I've tried messing with the default color profiles for each of the displays but it isn't changing anything.

I appreciate any ideas :)

Here are pictures for example:

Duhh, why I didn't think of that, I didn't notice you're on Windows 10.
Indeed it's a Windows 10 problem, I already helped someone out with the same issue in the past.
For some reason Windows 10 has issues with Nvidia and colours, I seen people in the past who would alt tab out of a game and Windows 10 would turn their screen into rainbow stripes and the only fix was to restart the computer.

Sorry I could have worded it better, I'm saying that my monitor uses DVI and my TV uses an HDMI.

No problem, have you tried going into Nvidia Control Panel and adjusting the colour settings of the output to the TV? Perhaps something may be configured wrongly with the output.

Found the solution! But not sure of what caused it. I went and messed with more Nvidia control panel settings and noticed there's an option in the "set up multiple displays" window to clone your displays when right-clicking display numbers. Also need to make sure to right-click the display you're trying to clone (in my case my monitor).

So I think the issue involves Windows 10 and the display settings.
