HDD really loud

So I have a 4tb wd black the 128mb cache one and during times of load would be loud as hell with click noises but once anything im doing on the drive is over lets say a defrag it would be silent. Is the drive suppose to be this loud? I've never owned any wd drives only a seagate sshd and it doesn't make this noise. I've been thinking this entire time that my aio was messed up but it was my drive sounding like crazy.

Sometimes drives can be fairly loud.
Sometimes this is a sign of impending doom/failure. Sometimes the drive will last for years making noise.

I would keep a backup but not worry about it.

Some drives are just louder than others.

Download and run WD's hard drive software to check the drive just to be sure.
