hello,
yesterday i build my new computer but i was experiencing lag on windows 10 and games with the following components:

- amd sapphire NITRO+ RX 580 8GB (VIDEOCARD)
- ryzen 5 1600 (CPU)
- asus PRIME B350-PLUS (MOBO)
- 16 GB of 3000mhz corsair vengeance (RAM)
- coolermaster v650 (power supply)
- HDD and a SSD

i already had the power supply and the HDD/SSD but all the other parts are brand new.
now i have the problem that my windows 10 is lagging. and also in low end games (like CS:GO), i still have i high fps but it is not running "smooth". just everything i do on it goes slow like opening my chrome, steam just everything.

things i have tried:
- re-installing my GPU drivers
- CCleaner and Driverbooster
- windows is be updated
- restarting a few times

i really hope someone here can help me with this problem it would mean alot to me thank you.

It should not matter as long as you erased the SSD and did a new install. If you installed the new windows on the wrong drive and were still booting into the SSD then it would make some sense. But you seem like you know enough that you are not doing that.

Go to userbenchmark.com and run a bench. It will test all your hardware against other entries and will tell us if something is not performing as it should. Post the link after you complete.

yes i cleaned my SSD and installed my clean windows 10 is on my SSD. here is the benchmark link: http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/6261287 (seems everything working fine but it is not)

Your background usage is 23%. That is too high. Check what programs are running at startup and get rid of the ones that have high impacts. Did you have a bunch of programs or webpages open when you ran the bench? Could be a reason for the high background usage

You may want to run a virus scan on your machine. I would scan the machine with Malwarebytes and an antivirus. I know it is a new machine and it is probably clean. But there are some nasty cryptocurrency virus running around and it may be running in the background and you cant see it in task manager.

If all of that checks out try updating your bios. If the bios update do not improve performance, I would reinstall windows. Just use the same installation media you already used and windows will register it as the same PC. After you reinstall windows, update your mobo drivers. Then update windows. Then update GPU drivers.
