Hi all, for after effects it would be more important a good CPU or good RAM? If CPU,then the Ryzen 5 1600 would be a good choice or better a processor with a higher clock rate? If that case, which one will be the best in performance under 250$?

If choosing better RAM, Vengeance® LPX 16GB (2x8GB) + low cost processor(<150$),would be enough?

I want to add also, i will mainly at the moment use it for motion graphics.

Thank in advance,

Ivan

For rendering, usually, the CPU makes the bigger difference. More cores are faster in that case.

In the moment of editing, RAM is more important but this isn't the same case for all Adobe programs.

Photoshop for example is best to use with 16GB+ RAM, since rendering tasks don't really apply to Photoshop specifically, you'd be fine with an ok Quad-Core CPU.

With After Effects or Premiere though.. I can see the CPU and RAM being useful, but way more the CPU. If you can, take the R5 1600, but it won't be the end of the world if you had to go with an R5 1400 instead.
