Is Gigabyte AORUS X299 Gaming 7 a great motherboard?

Hey, I'm planning a PC build of DDR4 and a 7th generation Intel i7, I planning to buy a i7-7820x with a 32gb of Corsair Vengeance LED 32gb (8x4), is Aorus Gigabyte x299 Gaming 7 a great Mobo? what other X299 Mobo you can suggest? also I'm planning to buy a MSI or ASUS GTX 1070 Ti for the GPU.

why would you go for the X299 platform ?
if you trying to build a gaming PC, you will benefit more from Z370 + i7-8700K. it will also cost you less and you can spend the difference on better GPU.
