Hi, recently my pc has began to act wierd. Whenever i press the power button to turn on my pc after my sleep or what not, i can hear it turn on, but no fans or anything else happens, it dose not even go into BIOS. So what i have done to counter this problem is to hold the power button to force shutdown and try again.

it should not be like this so have anyone ever experienced this in the past and know what is the cause of this problem?

I have my suspicion that my PSU is the cause of the problem, its quite old and have been exposed to many poweroutages.

Specs:
Asus Maximus VIII Ranger
i7-6700k 4.5@
G.skill Triden Z 32GB
Evga Gtx 1080 FTW hybrid
Corsair RM850 powersupply

Storage:
Samsung 960 pro 500GB Nvme
Samsung 950 evo 256GB
WD 4TB Black

no sound, no display, it dose not come to windows at all, not even past BIOS. The error code is from the mobo. No fans turn on.

But if i force it off a couple of times its usually works
