Asus sdrw-08d2s-u external DVD reader/writer not reading one DVD R + DL dvd ! Please help me!

Hi all,

My Asus sdrw-08d2s-u external DVD reader/writer doesn't read a DVD R + DL recorded DVD (with pictures,videos etc.)!

The DVD was recorded with one laptop's DVD-RW drive in Win 7! The same disc could be read with a desktop DVR-RW drive,but it couldn't be read with my Asus external DVD RW!I have tried with a desktop's DVD-RW when that desktop had installed Win 7,but and now Win 10 and it worked the both times!

I have checked if the Asus supports DVD R + DL and it supports!

I really don't know what is the problem!
Please help me!

I've run across similar problems; sometimes a home-made DVD just won't be accepted by one other DVD player, however, several others read it, play it, just fine. I have not been able to figure that out. I'll be watching this thread and learning alongside you from the experiences of others.
In the old old Floppy Drive days, 5.25 and then 3.5, the track placement by writer-device A was not accepted by reader-device B.
