Hey whats up community how you all doing? I've been having a problem with a new computer I've bought and I cant for the life of me figure it out, the ram on the computer I am using is a dual channel kit 8gb (2x4gb) and the windows doesnt recognize the full size, it stays at 3.95gb useable. Bios and any other program says I got 8gb, I've tried swapping sticks around and still the same, they are connected on the 2nd and 4th sockets following the respective color, DIMMA. Nothing really changed after doing all that the ram still looks limited, msconfig max ram is also unchecked, so I am here to ask if any kind soul know how to fix that problem which been haunting me for days since I got my new computer, I am 100% sure I am using a x64 windows. Heres the specs:
Windows: Windows 10 pro x64
Bios: F10 updated it yesterday hoping it would fix anything.
Motherboard: Gigabyte AX370 Gaming
Memory: 8gb (2x4gb) Dual Channel Kit (I dont remember the brand, its a major brand though)
Processor: Ryzen 1600X
Video Card: Nvidia 1050TI 4GB
PSU: 600W 80+ bronze (Which I also dont remember the brand)
No overclocking was done at all its all running in stock speed. I really hope someone can help me with this issue I would be super grateful, thank you for your time!
All the items above arent overlocked.
