I am currently getting about $500 for christmas which I am going to spend on my build. What parts do you recommend I upgrade in priority?


CPU: Intel Core i5-4460
GPU: Zotec GTX 750 Ti
SSD: Spcc Solid State Disk 120GB
HDD: Hitachi HUA722020ALA331 2TB
RAM: Crucial BLS8G3D1609DS1S00. 2x8GB
MBD: MSI H81M-E34 (MS-7817)
CASE: Apevia X Sniper 2 (Green)
MONITORS: DELL 1909W 19" 1440x900p(2)

@OP: Get the best deal on any GTX 1060 6GB card and put the rest into a 1080P monitor. You should be able to get a nice 27" 1080P for around 189.99. With tax you might be a little over 500 but it'll be worth it.

Spend it all in a new GPU. Everything else is pretty decent and well-balanced. A platform rebuild would cost you around that and wouldn't make the difference a new GPU will.


To check, you have to open up the case and get the info from its label
