Hello, I'm planning to buy the ASUS GeForce DUAL-GTX1060--O6G 6 GB and I'm wondering if there is a bid difference in gaming between the 3gb and 6gb because the price is pretty big :p And also will the card run without any problem with my specs at the moment ?
Mobo: Gigabyte ga-f2a68hm-hd2
CPU: AMD A10-7700k
PSU: Corsair cx 600
8gb ram

yes there is a difference, the 6gb has more vram and is not neutered

the 3gb version has less vram and is also cut down internally

your setup is not good enough for anything beyond a gtx 1050 ti, a 1060 would be wasted money unless you plan to fully upgrade to a ryzen or intel setup soon

Yeah after the 1060 I'm going to upgrade to a ryzen about a month later I get the card but if I use it for now would there be any problems?

No problems, but any bottlenecking will be the CPU. Just have to adjust CPU dependent settings in your programs to smooth them out...when needed.

no problems, just dont expect benchmark numbers from the card untill you upgrade

if all you have is the a10's built in right now, it is still a huge upgrade
