Hello guys .. I'm having issues with erasing all my SDD data, including personal files and windows, but I can't seem to be able to run DBAN from BIOS .. I tried with a CD disk and a flash drive but all I'm getting is a Missing operating system message ... idk what should I do, I've downloaded the dban.iso file and placed it in the flash drive/burned it onto the cd.. should I put more files or idk, do more stuff before trying to run it from BIOS ? I'm rly confused .. I've already put it in the boot priority thing, at first place, so the problem isn't here
Pc :
Intel i5 3550
Lenovo mahobay ( motherboard )
8 ram, and a 120 GB SSD ( transcend 220S )
bios: Lenovo 9skt70aus
win 10

Solution
The bare DBAN ISO file doesn't work like that.
You need to make it a bootable USB, with something like Rufus

However...you do NOT use DBAN on an SSD.
