I have a Hp Compaq 8300 Elite CMT Desktop. I have already put 24GB of RAM (ddr3) into it the PC, it has an i5 processor. The problem I am having is I bought an ATI Radeon 7670 4gb ddr5 GPU and my motherboard has a 35-watt cap on the GPU slot on the motherboard and the video card requires more than that to run correctly. The computer can see the GPU but whenever I try to open an application it crashes and the screen will get blue and white, lines will appear on screen due to the insignificant amount of power going to the GPU. I really want to be able to use the RAM, Processor, and the GPU together I don't care about the case it is in I am willing to get a different case. So can anyone please suggest a new motherboard that is compatible with these 3 items, or suggests what I should do.

400 Watt or greater power supply recommended for Radeon 7670 4gb ddr5 GPU.

You need a power supply as retail boxed motherboards don't use a 6-pin power connector used on the HP 657096-001 System board (motherboard) assembly (Maho Bay).

ATX form factor motherboard also require mid-tower case.
