I’m not the smartest computer guy, but I’m trying to learn. I built my pc 2 years ago and it’s been working great. Yesterday it just died while I was on my computer and wouldn’t start back up. Whenever I hit the power button, nothing happens. If I flip the psu switch off and on and then try to power it on, it flickers for a split second and doesn’t work.

I only have a power switch on the power supply. I tried switching it on and off

OK, unplug the PSU and use the jumper on the MB to reset the BIOS... Or you can remove the battery for a few mins.

Unplug the power supply and how do I “use the motherboard to reset the bios”

One of two ways.

Either the reset CMOS jumper on the MB or remove the battery for a few mins.

Ok I’ve removed the battery

With the PSU unplugged....

Put it back in and plug the PSU back in and see what happens.

The lights flickered and I heard a clicking sound like usual. And that was all that happened

No, but earlier I tested my psu to see if it was working on its own, and it was
I jumpstarted it and connected it to a fan and it worked fine

I don’t know if this is important, when my pc clicks on for a second, the fans spin a little bit, but not the CPU fan

That doesn't really mean anything.

You can have the PSU tested someplace local or do you have a friend you can borrow theirs?
