Hi everyone...
I want to build workstation for CGI... I use these softwares which are 3DS max 2016, cinema4d, z brush, adobe aftereffects cc2017, Adobe premiere 2016 and including their plugins... Here is a quotation...Processor: Quad Core i7 7700k or 8700k or i9 with air cooling CPU fan...
Graphic cards: gpu or cuda nvidia or quadro 8gb or 16 gb x 2 with 256 bit...
Big tower case...
1200 w power supply...
RAM: 8 slots minimum 32 GB and maximum 128 GB with 4800 MHz (because of expensive) $4000 for 128 GB...
But main thing is motherboards which I have no idea... People prefer to have Asus which I don't like and trust that company...
Two SSD memory cards (1 tb each for running windows 7 and install heavy programs and 8 sata HDD drives with minimum 7200 buffer speed or 10000 buffer speed...

Solution
that is why we recommend the Enermax AIO, to keep your parts cool. Just go easy on voltage and stress test the system with prime95 to make sure temp is not too high. air cooler is just not enough for good overclocking, you can get those but oc only little. Not sure what you mean by cleaning cooler in a year. You shouldn't need to for quite a long time, where does the dirt come from as it is fully contained?

There are a few things that you can check out to bring down the overall cost of your build :

Go with threadripper 1950X and check if the titan xp supports all your softwares. If the 1080ti also supports them, then that's the best case scenario.

Answer no 1. 128 GB RAMs in 3 or 4 series (3800mhz or more) you know the price...
Answer No 2. For rendering purpose for cinema4d and 3ds max and during adjusting the scenes in 3d and 4d softwares (fume fx and thinking particals) I really need SLI gpu
AMD, MSI or Intel but which serials? Not gaming motherboard, please!!!

Thank you...
I have a question about Liquid cooling thing... I'd prefer to use Air cooling not water thing... It's really headache to maintain in every 6 months to 12 months and it has noising problem too... Is it ok for that processor and the motherboard which you mentioned here?
How about these sites under below

I need HDD discs (more than 7200 buffer speed) data storage (specially my work) Those hard drives take more power than SSD...

The problem is tr4 is a specialty case. The heat spreader issue is large and the liqtech tr4 covers it. The top air coolers like noctua NH d15 and cryorig r1 ultimate are not designed forces tr4. And the Enermax aio is a closed liquid cooler, so not much in terms of maintenance.

http://www.legitreviews.com/air-versus-water-cooling-amd-ryzen-threadripper-noctua-coolers_198402/3

shows noctua air coolers can do a good job if not heavy overclocking. I second the choice on enermax liquid cooling.

Some tweaks assuming 1080 ti will work with your applications:

@vapour, the noctua cooler reviews comparison adds only non tr4 coolers or to be more precise, ported liquid coolers. The Enermax liqtech tr4 is especially designed for threadripper. So that review article doesn't do much justice.

PS: forgive my bad grammar/sentence formation in the last reply, auto correct messes up my typing and I wasn't exactly stable at that point XD

@ Lucky_SLS and Vapour
I am sorry to late respond back because I am still busy with my job and I still got flu... Both of you mentioned about 3 things (same products)...
1. Motherboard: Asrock X399 Taichi.
2. CPU: AMD-Threadripper 1950 X 3.4 Ghz 16-Core Processor
and 3. CPU Cooler: Enermax- Liqtech TR4 360 102.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
OK, I will buy these three items which are good for workstation PC CGI (3d related works such as 3ds Max 2013 and 2016, Cinema 4D R18, Foundry Nuke 10 and Maya including Adobe CC 2017; After Effects and Premier Pro) but I have problems... Cleaning CPU Cooler through the chemical and distill water more than twice (Enermax- Liqtech TR4 360 102.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler) draining the liquid then wash it again than again... Who has time and making mess in the bathroom... And how many times to clean the Enermax- Liqtech TR4 360 102.2 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler in a year?
Mr. Lucky_SLS, you are right about heat spreader issues in the CPU case. The top air coolers like noctua NH d15 and cryorig r1 ultimate are not designed forces tr4 mother If I get Dominator Air flow Pro or Corsair Dominator cooler or dominator definitely I can't use Noctua NH d15 and Cryorig r1 (air cooler) because of unfit and size... CPU= AMD-Threadripper 1950 X 3.4 Ghz 16-Core Processor; is this latest heavy or better CPU like 8 Generation of i7 8700K?

You both didnt't mention about DVD Writer or else...
I will buy EVGA - SuperNOVA T2 1600W 80+ Titanium Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply because I am going to use plenty of fans to make exhaust the heatwave from the case... If I planted Air dominator or Air flow Pro or Corsair on 128 GB Ram 3200 (not less than 128 GB RAMS) are they good for the system...
If I get Asrock X399 Taichi mother and AMD-Threadripper 1950 X 3.4 Ghz 16-Core Processor... Nobody ever mention about overclocking and heating and power management... Who is going to tell me... I don't want to burn those products if overclocks and wasting money...
Dear Vapour, What is SYBA SI-PEX 40108-4 Port SATA III PCI-e 2.0X 1 Card?
can you explain to me in simple english?

Solution
A few things to consider :

The Enermax aio can handle upto 500w tdp. So taking care of the overclocked 1950X is not an issue.

The vrm area is the main concern. Those needed sufficient cooling to prevent thermal throttling and to maintain a stable oc.

So this is what I would suggest :
Get the corsair carbide 600c case https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139069&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
Have the Enermax aio in the bottom as pull to take in fresh air and also to cooling the vrm area with the airflow. Have the rear fan also as intake and front fans as exhaust.

Or

Go for ek Phoenix 360 radiator core https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-mlc-phoenix-360-radiator-core-module
Only the rog zenith monoblock is available https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-fb-asus-rog-ze-rgb-monoblock-nickel
So mobo has to be Asus rog zenith x399
And you need g1/4 fittings and soft tube with a QDC coupling to connect that to the radiator core module.

And consider the titan xp, with the latest drivers, Quadro functionality is unlocked in the titan xp

Dear mr. Vapour...
Hello again... Whenever I see those videos from youtube about cleaning CPU cooler liquid and radiator, they open everything and start cleaning and most of all they destroy themselves even they mess up with the sewerage and sinks...
Our house is already neat and clean and we never open the doors and windows...
I was told that Whenever CPU liquid coolers or different kind of CPU cleaner start making noise then they open them (inside of the device)... It's not about laziness for not cleaning... It's about messing and open the cpu cooler and make mess in the bathroom sink...
You have mentioned about Enermax AIO; 360 and you had also mentioned Enermax-Liqtech TR4 360-102.2 CFM liquid CPU cooler... I need to know what is difference between CFM liquid and AIO liquid?
