Want to use SSD is it worthy for my following system configuration?

My present configuration is:
Processor: core i3 2nd gen (2012)
RAM: 2GB+4GB 1333 bus
HDD: 500GB hitachi
MB: Assus 61 (2012)

Will i get benefit of using ssd as OS drive and the hdd as storage ?

A 250GB SSD is a fairly cheap way to make some things on an old PC faster. Your FPS won't improve, but compared to that old 500GB mechanical disk, boot and program launch should be much faster.

You'll definitely see a solid benefit in your OS boot time and the launch time of applications and documents (assuming they are stored on your SSD), but outside of that I wouldn't expect other improvements.

If that seems worth it to you, then I would say go for it.
