I've recently upgraded my mb, cpu, ram and graphics but sadly i'm still running my old setup because the new one won't even post/power up(fan stop automatically as if the power supply shuts its power) and the cpu red led on the mobo light up. Tought it was the motherboards fault so i rma'd it and received the replacement unit today and sadly i am back were i was. This isn't my first build(but is my first intel build), i'm desperate and don't want to rebuild back my old computer for like the fourth time while there's a brand new one computer waiting for me.

New spec:
-i5 7600k
-cooler master hyper 212 EVO(wich i've been using for less than a year with my old config)
-gigabyte z370 aorus gaming 5
-16gb ram 3000mhz ddr4
-evga gtx 1060 6gb
-550w psu (3 months old running daily)
-western digital blue 1tb
-windows 10

Old spec:
-Amd fx-6300 (oc 3.8ghz)
-Hyper 212 evo
-gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3
-8gb ram 1600 mhz
-Zotac gtx 750 1gb
-550w psu
-western digital blue 1tb
-windows 10

Solution
Well, it will not work, you got CPU not compatible with motherboard. Z370 only accepts 8xxx CPUs. Your 7600K would need z270 motherboard.
