Hi,
I'm building my first gaming PC and need a Z370 motherboard for my build.
I haven't been able to find much info on the subject but I am considering either the Asus ROG Strix Z370-E or the ROG Maximus.
So really, the question boils down to Maximus VS Strix.
But if you have any other recommendations i am all ears.

P.S. I want the better mb in general rather than cheaper option.

Solution
What are you trying to accomplish? Max overclock? Built in wireless? The maximus seems to have little value over the z370-e. The really expensive mobos are mainly marketing hype.

The z370-e is at the top end of what I consider reasonable. Really good mobos that get a reasonable overclock and have all the right features run in the $150-160 range. Less then that you end up with lower end power delivery, fewer usb ports, etc.

I need a z370 that preferably has built in wifi/bluetooth (bluetooth not mattering as much) and i want to a bit of overclocking but nothing major but mabey in future i might overclock some more. but i want quite a flexible motherboard that will last a while without me having to replace it with something more modern.
(by flexible i mean i want more options not i want to bend my mobo)
