I agree. Just go with the cheapest option. The performance is close between them all. If you want to squeeze out a bit more performance you can always just overclock yourself.
 
Companies offer a range of models, from stripped down basic models for cheap, to overclocked and upgraded models for more. I like to buy the models in the middle. Never buy the cheapest, but don't buy the most expensive either. The cheapest is usually louder and runs hotter. The most expensive usually has features which don't matter to me(ie RGB lighting, overclocked). The middle ones are the best deals for price/performance.
