Today I got a Xbox One controller for Windows. I am on Windows 7 64 bit. It works with the USB but it isn't detected when connected wirelessly. The wireless connection itself is a bit erratic, or so I can tell from the LEDs. Not sure if this is normal.

The drivers for the wireless adapter fail when downloaded automatically by Windows. An error with code 10 is reported. I have tried manually downloading and installing them but that didn't work either, although the installation went through successfully, apparently.

I have resorted to 3 different Xbox assistants and 1 Windows assistant who didn't or couldn't help me at all. Actually the last one even asked me more money, what a shame from Microsoft.

What can I do? I've been digging at this problem the whole day to no avail.
