AMD FX 9590 problems

I have had the amd fx-9590 for almoast a year now and just recently i have been having a ton of lag. It started with just the game i was playing h1z1, but now everything is extremely slow and laggy. Is there any sort of fix. It isn’t overheating either

If your lag is recent, something must have changed recently.

Perhaps a virus or malware.
Perhaps a windows update that installed less than optimal drivers.

Look for recent changes.

Also check your disk usage when you're lagging see if its hitting 100%

i believe it was the processor because after updating to the intel i7 7700 k processor i havent had lag since.

I think you are correct.
FX cores are slow, and even the highly overclocked FX-9590 is no match for more modern intel processors.
