I just finished building my new computer. I go and turn the machine on and it runs except nothing is displayed on the monitor. I know the monitor works because I just pulled it from my other rig. Power is going to the MY and graphics card. I tried using HDMI and DVI cables in both the MB and graphics card ports. Still nothing.

Here is the build:

SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 500GB
Cooler Master Hyper T4
MSI X370 GAMING PRO CARBON AM4
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 SC2 GAMING iCX
Corsair Carbide Series Air 740 High Airflow ATX Cube Case
AMD RYZEN 7 1800X 8-Core 3.6 GHz (4.0 GHz Turbo) Socket AM4 95W
EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G3, 80 Plus Gold 850W, Fully Modular
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz
Seagate 3TB BarraCuda SATA 6Gb/s 64MB

Solution
1. make sure the mb not grounding out on a standoff in the wrong place or the io shield. make sure all the power plugs are in. check for any cables that missed pins. if they look fine pull the mb see if it posts on top of the box it came with.
