Ive just started playing Tom Clancy's the division on PC. I have an i7-7700K and an Asus ROG strix 1080. I play on a 1440p monitor and get around 80/90 fps with my settings on high/ultra. But while playing my CPU shoots up and above 90 degrees C and the game keeps crashing. I'm sure I have enough power to run the game but why is my CPU getting so hot? And why does the game keep crashing?

What cpu cooler are you using? Is your cpu overclocked?
90C is too hot. You'll have to either improve cooling or reduce OC.
