Questions about Asus Prime B350m-a

I am planning to buy the Asus prime b350m-a mobo for my ryzen build. However on asus' website, it says:
'Due to the limitation of AMD Ryzen™ processors, memory frequencies higher than DDR4 2666 MHz are supported only when using one DIMM per channel.'

And it's says: 'The M.2 Socket shares bandwidth with the SATA6G_5/6 ports, therefore the SATA6G_5/6 ports cannot be used when a SATA/PCIE mode M.2 device is installed.'

Do these mean that I can't use dual channel ram if I want speeds higher than 2666mhz and I can't use the sata 6g port for say an SSD if I also have an m.2 SSD?

Another Asus motherboard I am looking into (want to get Asus because of the ryzen reloaded offer) is the Asus prime b350m-e and on asus' site when I go to specs and scroll to the bottom on that mobo in the footnotes it doesn't say either of the things that it says for the prime b350m-a. They are both priced around £73 and the only difference is that the -e is smaller and has 2 ram slots whilst the -a is a bit larger and has 4 ram slots and also that the -e doesn't mention those 2 things above.

So, what do those two things mean and which would be he better motherboard?

Thanks in advance

No it means that you cant use four sticks in your dual channel board if you want to reliably see speeds above 2666mhz. So one stick per channel.

If you use a M.2 drive it will steal bandwidth from SATA ports 5 and 6. So those 2 will be unavailable if you install an m.2 drive, you will still have 1-4 so I don't see how this an issue unless you plan to hook more than 4 SATA drives.

I will never buy another Asus board. Too many problems.
I will buy Gigabyte or Intel instead.

Oh okay, thanks for clearing up my questions. So does that mean if I wanted say 16gb of ram I should get two 8gb instead of four 4gb, to reliably see speeds above 2666mhz?

Yes, exactly.

One of the best boards on the B350 chipset is the Fatal1ty, but might be a bit more expensive than that one...
