Hey guys i just built a new pc and it doesnt post at all. The screen stays black from the beginning. Everything inside works the fans and all.

Asrock Ab350m pro4
Corsair Value Select 8GB DDR4-2133MHz (CMV8GX4M1A2133C15)
Evga gtx 1050 2gb
Ryzen 3 1200
corsair Rm550x

I ve read around posts and i think its ram compabillity problem? Does this specific mobo need specific ram? Single rank? i dont know and i would apreciate some help.

Solution
Im not sure if you fixed it yet, but I was having the same problem and i fixed it by moving my ram stick into a different slot. My mobo manual said to put it into one of the slots but currently I have it in a different slot than what the manual said and my pc is working.

Hi, thank you for the fast reply. Yes i ve connected either though the gpu or the motherboard. Hdmi and vga. Nothing works.

Your motherboard supports graphics only if you are using a apu processor, not ryzen.
You need to connect to your discrete graphics card.

Ryzen is picky about ram.

To verify ram compatibility, go to the corsair site and access their ram selection app.
Enter your motherboard and see if you ram appears on the supported list.

Read your motherboard manual.
There are often restrictions on where a single stick of ram must be inserted.

Then an internal speaker would help in further troubleshooting.
Try connecting one to the board and see if any beeps.

Yes i know i tried checking but corsair doesn't have this motherboard for some reason. My gpu doesnt have power connector as its a gtx 1050 non ti. Corsair doesnt even have spiecification about my ram on their site. They just say its compatible with any ddr4 mobo. On my motherboard manual says if my ram is single channel, which it is then i need to a single rank ram. I cant find anywhere what this ram is. Corsair site doesnt even help.
