ram bottleneck issuie

Solution
That motherboard only has two DIMM slots. Here is what the user's manual says about dual channel -- "When enabling Dual Channel mode with two memory modules, it is recommended that memory of the same capacity, brand, speed, and chips be used and installed in the same colored sockets."

I don't know if having two different capacity DIMMs will prevent it from operating in dual channel mode, the manual is vague.
