Hi, I'm Leon

I have bought a pdp afterglow prismatic controller for xbox one a while ago and was recently wondering if it was possible to make it wireless for pc gaming.
I couldn't find something so that's why I am asking it here.

thanks in advance:)

P.S. I am Dutch, so I am sorry if I say something wrong

yeah, the problem is.... power. your controller has no way to power itself if it's not plugged in. It doesn't have a battery pack, and doesn't have a wifi card on it.

So unless you bought a wireless controller, took out it's internals and put it in yours (which doesn't have a door for batteries) it wouldn't work.

Thanks for your answer, but Isn't there a sort of device that does that? or does the controller have to be designed to be wireless so it can have it's own name assigned?

Are the batteries the only big problem? If so then it is possible to buy a new case and change the back plate, right?
Because you could wire the batteries to the micro USB 5V in and ground.

So in other words it is possible, it just would take a bit of work and could be easier to start off with wireless and mod that controller. Had the same thought myself because I also just picked up one of those Afterglow controllers and the led's are pretty sweet, especially the different settings available. I think I found an unlisted setting of the led's, a "breathing" setting like it has but not as bright, but unfortunately I'm not sure what button combination it was. I also like the added function button and the ease/proximity of being able to mute the mic, as well as adjusting some of its functions.

Like the old saying goes, where there's a will, there's a way :)
