Intel celeron n3060 1.6 Can overcloocking?

Solution
Celeron's are not gaming CPU's at all, yes you can technically overclock with Software but you will gain nothing from it except heat and added power usage.

Please don't listen to your "Best Answer, I had the same CPU and I believed the comment, but then after discovering software and comparing the results, it's not at all true. First of all your CPU goes 1.6 GHZ to 2.4 GHZ, though usually 2.1 will be my Maximum, I have tested them through and over time I have found better ways to do so, the main problem is heat, which is what prevents me from going trubo all the time, though I have also found ways to avoid that. I recommend using ThrottleStop, it is very handy and usable for first timers. Personally to the Best Answer might I ask what trouble you had Overclocking your Celron, and see if there was error?

Clearly you didn't read what I said. Yes you can "Software' overclock but in actually real world usage you gain very little from it besides running HOT which throttles the damn thing slower than what you started with. These Burst to 2.48ghz when needed so bypassing that beyond max just gives you added heat with no real world benefits. Celeron's and their crappy IGPU are not performance chips you will not gain much from overclocking,

For day to day use out of those Toasters you will find a SSD as more of a benefit than dealing with the Heat of a marginal overclock attempt that will cause random BSOD's.. usually when you need it the most.
