Msi Z270-a Pro Display issue

Hello all, I just tried to set up a new MSI Z270-a PRO motherboard. When i connect everything and start it up on the motherboard the EZ Debug Leds alternate between the DRAM and CPU lights flashing with neither one staying solid.

When i hooked up my case speaker and only the ram and motherboard it didn't beep at all so i'm afraid it might be bent pins and wanted another pair of eyes to see if that is the case

Specs
Motherboard MSI Z270-A Pro
Intel i5-7500
Asus Gtx 1060 3gb
8Gb Ballistix DDR4 Ram

i tried with only one ram module in each slot and every time the lights still flashed for both ram and cpu and there was no video output,

also if i start it without the ram only the ram debug light comes on on the motherboard

Ballistix Sport 8gb ddr4 single module. and i push the ram in until the clips click down

yeah, unfortunately it seems like rma might be the only choice. thanks for your help
