Hi,

I just bought all components for new build, but I get insane LED error while booting. I even can´t get into BIOS. I get there like 5 times, but usually I get 0d LED error on mb. and cant even move in boot.

I have
GA-AX370-GAMING 5
AMD Ryzen 5 1600x
Arctic freezer 33 eSport
EVGA 600 BQ
Kingston 16GB 3000MHz CL15 HyperX Predator (1 stick)
WD black 1TB
MSI GeForce GTX 1060 3GT OC

I tried to boot just with CPU, CPU + RAM, RAM in all slots, GPU in x16 and x8.

All PSU cables are correctly connected, as well as CPU cooler.

Any one have an idea wheres the problem? I can´t simply locate that problem, because I get into bios a few times so it seems all components works well...

Thank you all for help

When I start with no RAM I get error 4b.

I forget to write that I clear CMOS with every attempt, when I change RAM slot or something else still not works.

I might get one more idea. My RAM runs at 3000MHz, but the CPU supports just 2667, It should be OK i gues, the ram speed will be just like downgraded. But I found on the other posts, that a lot of people have the same problem like me and the solution was to update bios.

But I´m not sure how to load the bios from USB, when I cant access BIOS at all. Do you think it could help? If yes, can u give me advise how to do that?

No I cant, I just can send it for classic reclamation. Because all the components are bought for company and in our country I can´t simply return stuff bought for company :(... And the reclamation process took up to 40 days. So no other solution get on your mind?

On the other side are u pretty sure thats the RAM problem? Should it be for example MB problem? Because when I´ll send it away for 40 days and will be waiting for answer I want to be sure that the problem is in the RAM, dont want to send RAM away and in 40 days get reply: RAM is OK, probably MB problem. If u know what I mean

Ok, I now find this article https://www.techpowerup.com/231518/amd-shares-details-on-ryzen-ddr4-memory-support-and-upcoming-am4-updates Where they said that 3000MHz memory is not supported by AMD Ryzen 5. Should this be that problem (I think it also can describe that I boot bios a few times - like I have unsupported memory and the system is extremely unstable = usually unable to boot). I thought that memory on unsupported frequency will be just slow down to supported frequency, was I wrong?

And one more thing which I just realized is that my memory is not on official QVL of mb. Also thought that this is not big problem, thought that on QVL are just like TOP supported memories.

What do you think about that?

Ok, because the 3000MHz memories are not supported by AMD ryzen 5 1600x and also memory which I decided to buy were not on QVL of motherboard, the system became extremely unstable - in most of time unable to boot.

Solution is really simple, buy memories on supported frequency, if possible from QVL of motherboard. Than the system boots with no difficulties.
