Hi, I got a xeon e3 1230. Its a 4C/8T Sandy bridge part. I don't need things like ECC. Will this work on any h61 chipset board? How about h67 or b75? Its the same socket type but I'm worried that the chipset might cause incompatibility

Solution
Or check google to see if others have tried it. Many mobos won't state it but do support it. The chipset isn't the issue, it's the mobo bios.
