Hey everyone. I’m planning on building a new PC and am looking to go all out this time on what will be my 2nd build ever. Here is my current PC just for reference sake, which is 3 years old now.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/DyLQBm

I'm not really sure what I want specifically part wise except for a top tier i7 Intel CPU, 1080ti GPU, and 32gb of RAM (fastest speed). However, please feel free to suggest otherwise and why on this. In short, I need some expert advice on each component (the best) to buy. It will be used for gaming and streaming entirely. I'm looking to achieve 1440p @ 60fps with max settings in all of my games if possible. Thanks so much everyone for any and all help. I really appreciate it!

Raiding SSDs is a bad idea, they can infact perform worse than non raided SSDs.
Volta probably won't be out for 6 more months.

Here's a more realistic build:

MERGED QUESTION
Question from Mr Evasive : "New PC Build - Futureproof/Overkill Edition"

Very bad. Specially looks wise it is going far away from RGB themed beast to normal build.

The best thing to do is add second 960Evo 250GB SSD in Raid 0. Then you will have 500GB which is enough no need of 1TB unless you plan on doing huge production projects. Add second 1TB HDD in Raid 1 for additional safety backup if there is important data you wanna save or simply add in second HDD for additional space.

The list I provided has complete Black/RGB theme but the list you provided comes with Black/White/RGB theme and RAM doesn't even have RGB lighting. It will not look as cool and unique as Black/RGB themed build. Point of having good looking build is lost.

256GB SSD will be enough for most users.

Oh, I understand now. :) I thought you meant component wise it is very bad compared to the build you linked. How is it in that regard? Which optical drive and version of Windows 10 should I buy? Also, a good HDD please?

Get external portable ODD as you won't be using it regularly. Get Windows 10 Home/Pro 64bit which ever suits you best. I personally use Pro version for my comfort in use of direct remote access. Its your choice of what features you want and is spending extra for Pro version worth it.
