I have a Optiplex 380 MT and I want to purchase this PSU for it. Will it fit ?https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LV8TZAG/

Solution
It's standard ATX in the MT , I have replaced them in the past with XFX 550W Core models , so the EVGA will fit and the connections aren't proprietary. So it's not an issue to use the EVGA 400W.
I'm not 110% sure, but I'm 90% sure that your system is a small form factor or "mini" unit and that power supply is a full size ATX unit, so if that's the case it would not fit. If you give me the service tag or express service tag number off the sticker on your case tower I can probably tell you for sure what WILL fit it.

My service tag is FWDJNL1

The N1 is a crap unit for a system with a high end graphics card. For a stock system, with mainstream hardware, it's perfectly fine. Since no mention was made of any additional upgrades we tend to accept that they are simply looking for a replacement, and as a replacement it's likely as good or better than the unit it came with, and is probably capable of about an additional 100w over the factory unit as well.

Not everybody is running a gaming machine.

Gaming or not, there are better units at a similar price with better longevity for itself and other parts even at the light loads. Not to mention efficiency (70% at best on an idle system)...

Perhaps, perhaps not. Depends on where you are. EVGA has their budget units available all over the world, in nearly every market. Corsair usually too. Many others are not necessarily. Regardless, you are right that it's not the best unit out there. Not even good really. But still better than MOST OEMs aside from a handful of Delta and Seasonic OEM units, so probably better off than what was in there in the first place, depending on what was in there in the first place.

Still, I agree it's a pretty poor unit and USUALLY there are better choices for the price. Heck, I'd much rather have an Antec VP-450 than that thing. Or any of the Earthwatts units.

I wouldn't buy one, but it's not for me, so not my call.

Yep, we get it. And so does the OP I assume. But your assumption is ill advised because on a daily basis I get people from all over India, all around the Russian provinces and occasionally from Australia, who insist on linking to US based Amazon links when asking about something because either there is no Amazon availability in their region to link to for the purpose of easily pointing to an item they are asking about OR because they know that the majority of "help" on the US based site isn't going to be able to understand much of anything on a site they link to that's in their own language.

So, it's never a good idea to make any kind of assumptions, about anything, ever. At all. :)
