So I recently I bought a new motherboard for my pc which basically is a fix for my last one which had 1 damaged ram socket. So now I am using it right now and it is going in a turn for the worst, I can't play my games without crashing, my pc shuts down with no warning mid game, my room feels like an turned on oven. My CPU is a AMD FX 6300 and my new motherboard is a ASRock N68-GS4 FX R2.0 and basically I won't be able to upgrade to a new motherboard in months, so I need a guide because my manual for this motherboard is dog crap and it doesn't even explain how the bios works.

I basically go casually play CS GO and I cannot have this crap running my game and doing this to me, I have never experienced this problem with my last motherboard and sure in hell it was easy to use. I didn't even need a manual to figure out overclocking in my last one which is a GA-78LMT-S2, I bet nobody ever even heard of these motherboards because they're ancient. So I am hoping for more help with my new motherboard. My cpu goes %60 idle and %70 with google chrome on, and %80+ with only 1 game on.

Okay, had to ask...not sure what else you can as I have not used a AMD CPU since the Athlon days. Have you tried running something like Glarysoft to make sure your registry is okay..it's free and also includes Malware bytes..also free to see if there are any issues? Also the chipset drivers? I know I am reaching for straws..but cant think of anything else..Hopefully someone will pipe in who knows your CPU/Motherboard setup a litlle better.

So I tried what you told me to do but it didn't work, also I never mentioned I get much more fps drops than the last one and also the motherboard is dying. Which is why I cannot go back without risking killing my own pc, so I have to figure out how this motherboard works and somehow manage to get a new one after I recently bought this crap. My registry is okay with this one as glarysoft said, so I think I need new solutions for my problem.

1. Don't throw more money in your current system. Save it for next upgrade with AMD Ryzen or Intel platform.
2. Turn on your Window Task Manager to check the CPU/GPU/ram usage and temperature. You can also try MSI Afterburner. In idle mode, your CPU should be close to 1 or 2%. Turn off any unnecessary application, Norton, or window gadget you install.....If out of idea, I will do clean window install and GPU driver only and check to see if it fix the problem. You did not mention what GPU you have installed on your motherboard even though I don't think it is the problem.

So it's been long that I had asked people for this problem I had with my cpu, so basically I had a virus that manipulated my pc making it shutdown by itself making it look slow until I decided to wipe my drive with windows reset. But in the end it was worth it, the new mobo I bought was way worse than the one I am using right now as it was drying up the thermal paste and frying my cpu. So now I am back to using the one that I had last time, the new mobo I bought was basically a downgrade compared.
