Hello Friends i want to Know bought 4K ,,,,, Actually my main focus is Watching 4K 265 or 264 HDR/Dolby Vision(10bit 4:2:2 or 4:4:4) Movies on My 65" 4K HDR/Dolby Vision LED TV Connected With My PC.
PC Configuration is :- Intel i5-2500K Processor ! Intel DZ75ML-45K Motherboard ! Corsair Vengeance 2 x4GB(Total 8GB) ! Cooler Master Hyper 212X Air CPU Cooler ! Nvidia Geforce GT
520 2GB DDR3 ! Asus DX Sound Card ! WD 1TB Caviar green HDD ! Samsung 840 Evo
120GB SSD ! Corsair VS650W PSU ! Asus optical Drive ! 7 Cabinet Cooling FAN ! Antec GX900 Cabinet ! Edifier DA5000Pro 5.1 Speaker !

Now is i5-2500K with GT 520 2GB DDR3 is capable for 4K HDR 265 Video Playing or i have to change GPU to Higher Model eg:- Nvidia Geforce 1080,1070ti,1050 or 950 OR i have to Change Both CPU & GPU???? It's rare for me Playing 4K Games & 4K Video Editing or Decoding on my System

A bit of a wall of text but do change the 520 for a 1030 or similar since the 520 does not support anything higher than 2560*1600.

You'll want a new generation card, an RX 550/560 or 1030/1050, for 4k video since they have the hardware encoding/decoding for that. For gaming at 4k your 2500k really isn't enough, plus you'd need a much more powerful card like a 1080 or more. I'd recommend you run your games at 1080p and just scale it up.

The games you play will determine which card you need. For instance, to play PUBG at 1080p, an RX 550 isn't going to do it.

A 2500k is enough to get to 60fps in games nowadays. At 4k the gpu is the major bottleneck.

Simply because there are almost no 4k monitor that has a higher refresh rate than 60Hz. Then secondly when you want high fps you run into a gpu bottleneck. So there is no real reason to upgrade as long as your cpu can keep up and get you 60 fps or whatever you want without holding the gpu back too much.

a i7 2600k yes, once overclocked a bit

a i5 2500k no, especially not on games like PUBG

for simply watching 4k movies then a gt 1030 is plenty

for gaming at 4k you start at a gtx 1080 and go up
