Upgrade advice for my sons PC please !!!!

Hi All,

Christmas upgrade advice required pretty please - my son has a MSI Z97M MB (1150) with a Pentium Anniversary which is overclocked. Graphics card is a Radeon R7 260 X with 1GB GDDR5 . 8GB DDR3 I think. He play video games and has a PS4 but complains he can’t run games on best settings. What would be the most logical upgrade ? Been along time since my 286 12 MHz played Wolfenstine 3D !

Games that are being played/he wants to play?

A pentium anni is a dual core and a bunch of new AAA games don't launch with a dual core anymore.
A r7 260x is quite a low end gpu so that will also need an upgrade.

You are lucky tho because you have a really good motherboard with a bunch of upgrade options...

You are lucky tho because you have a really good motherboard with a bunch of upgrade options and the market is being flooded with older 4th gen intel cpu's for a good price.
