Hello!
So i just reinstalled windows 10 on my computer and after the instaltion my secondary hard drive did't show up. So i check disk mangement and it said that my disk 1 was not initialized. So i tried with the mbr becuse the hard drive has 1TB of memory and got an error code. Also under my device mangment i only find my primiry SDD and an unknown device. What can i do to fix it?

Thx on forehand

You gotta take the drive out, stick it in an external enclosure, and see if it works. Just plug the enclosure (which you can get on Amazon for really cheap) in a different working computer to test. If you leave it in your laptop, there are too many variables. It could be a variety of things (e.g. windows, motherboard, memory, drivers, etc.), and you want to first be sure that you actually have a working drive before trying to run down a long list of potential problems. In other words, there's no point to messing around with drivers, replacing memory sticks, etc. as the reason your drive isn't working if you just have a dead drive. Make sure it works, and then if you confirm it's functional, you can start trying to isolate what in...

Here's a link to a 2.5 in drive enclosure for only $10. Just stick your drive in there (assuming it's a 2.5 in drive), and it will then appear like an external USB drive on any other computer. Note, don't plug it into your same laptop. Use another computer that you are certain has no issues reading other external drives. Good luck!
