Is it worth to upgrade my 4790k now ?

If you don't feel like you need to upgrade to get the performance you want because your current equipment already gets you there, then there is no point in upgrading for the sake of upgrading.
My five years old i5-3470 still gets everything I need it to do done well enough that I still don't even have an itch to upgrade yet. I've never used a system for more than three years before the upgrade itch set in before and I'll probably end up sticking with it until Ryzen 2 (likely going to be the 3000 series) and Icelake (wonder what Intel is going to do after the 9000-series Cannonlake in 2018... 10 000-series?) come out in 2019.

That's entirely dependent on the games and graphics details. Most games won't reach 144Hz at 1440p with graphics maxed out due to the 1080Ti still being too slow for that, just like how 4k60 is also still too much to ask in some cases.
