Sorry not sure where to post this because it could be many things so i posted it here.
My pc randomly freezes and i have to switch off the psu and the turn on again. The MB then would give me an error 55 ( asus maximus hero viii z170) which indicates memory not detected.
When i take 2 sticks of ram out(currently using 4x4), no matter which ones i take, then put them back again, it will boot.
The thing is: it happens AGAIN RANDOMLY, can be 2 mins idle, can be 1 hr playing PUBG, but it happens again and thats what bothering me.

So far ive tried:
- Ram sticks 1 by 1, it worked perfectly until i put all 4 sticks, then it crashes.
- Reseating cpu cooler and checking cpu itself, nothing wrong with them.
- Ran memtest86 for like 4 hours and no errors.
- Checked the mem with the windows tool and all good.
- Even installed a fresh copy of windows 10 and still the same thing.

Im kinda thinking of buying new rams but that would be over 200$ for not knowing whats the problem for sure.

CPU: i7-6700k
MB: Asus Maximus Hero VIII
Ram: 4x4gb ddr4 hyperx fury 2133
cpu cooler: CM hyper 212x
PSU: Evga 750GQ 80+ G

motherboard bios is latest release from asus ??
to access the bios hammer the delete key before system boots up as soon powered on
have a fresh formatted FAT32 USB stick download the bios from motherboard manufacturer only stick the bios you just downloaded on the USB stick recommend at least 2 bios's re-boot press the delete button repeatedly to get into your bios select system then update bios select usb device flash it leave it to do its thing then you should be good with your new bios
if done wrong will brick your motherboard
and what Mark rm said is a good idea
