The GPU comes with a Y adapter that has 2 four-pin molex plugs on one end and a 6 pin connector on the other that connects to the GPU(lower, middle pin is missing)

The PSU has a 6+2 marked PCIe. I'm thinking it plugs right into the GPU and the Y adapter would be for a lower Watt PSU, but the pins made me unsure. I looked but neither item's documentation had really any info. I just don't want to damage the GPU.

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks,
Tim

P.S. I tried inserting an image but it doesn't look like it's showingup.

This is correct , don't use adapters ^

CX750M...has plenty of connections to even run high end cards and you only need a 6 pin , leave the + 2 hanging out.
