Hello,

I have a USB thumb drive which I bought a little less than a year ago in a store near me. I live in Belgrade, Serbia. I bought the mentioned USB and a few months ago it started to malfunction without any reason and it stopped working altogether. The second I insert it into the PC the computer starts to stutter and the drive appears and disappears a few times per second on the PC (it shows that it is there and then it shows that it is not there at all). I will now make a bullet-point list of all the facts surrounding my problem:

- I have tried inserting the drive into different computers which also happen to have different operating systems; the drive still appeared to malfunction in the same manner
- I have tried disabling selective suspending for USB drives in my control panel; did not help
- I have visited numerous websites trying to fix my issue and nothing helped because of the nature of my problem
- I cannot scan the drive, nor can I format it or anything else because the drive keeps disconnecting constantly
- I tried using Command prompt as well and I still could not accomplish anything

I would be extremely grateful if someone could lend me a hand because this drive was very expensive for me and I really need to try resolving the issue with this one...

Thanks in advance.

P.S. the thumb drive is Verbatim USB V3 32GB model

Actually, I managed to find my receipt for the drive and I got a new one. But yea, I was trying to fix the one that was malfunctioning. I thought that it would be possible somehow.
