Acer Aspire TC ATC-705-UC52 Intel Core i7 4th Gen. 4790 (3.6ghz) on mother board ,1- 16 PCI express slot. What to use for VR is their a graphic card that will work?

It's actually a standard ATX case. What you do here is
-upgrade the PSU to a tier one unit of 500/550W
- add case fan to the side panel
- change the rear case fan a high static pressure exhaust fan
- Buy a GTX 1070/1080 and install it
- profit ?

Mark I only have one slot. don't the GTX 1070/1080 need two slots.

But you have space beside the slot, it only plugs into one physical slot, it just needs one extra slot space beside it that's empty, you have that.
