Upgrading my i5 3330

Recently I have been thinking about changing my i5 3330 into a i7 2600 or i7 3770 depending on the price. Do you guys find it worth or Im just throwing Money away? (Of course has i5 3570k, but my mobo is a h61a/br so Im not pretending to do oc)

If all your doing is gaming then moving to a i7 without the ability to overclock wont gain you much at all and not worth the $100+ investment.

I assume you have LGA 1155 mobo based on your i5 3330. i7 3820 will not work since it is LGA 2011 socket. You should download MSI afterburner to monitor your usage of CPU/GPU/Memory to see which one is bottleneck the system. Try to go on youtube and put in your CPU and GPU or different combo, you should get exact match or similar so you can see whether it is worth the upgrade.
