Hi, i'm runing windows XP Home Edition SP3 32-bit and i faced a problem when trying to install my new Toshiba 3Tb hard drive on my system. In disk management console it shows only 746,50gb capacity. I tried to use acronis true image 2013 bootable rescue disc to allocate the rest of the space, the program showed the whole 3tb space in segments of 2tb and 746gb so i played with it and tried to make 2 partitons 1,5tb each but for some reason merging and spliting didn't work as expected. It always created default 746gb partition and give me the option to partition the remaining 2tb. So i did, and created two 1,5tb and 500gb partitions and set them as logical drives assigning them letters to be able to see them in windows disk management. But when i booted back those can't be seen again, all i see again is that 746,50gb partition. Then i continue to searh on and realised maybe my mobo is making problems, i'm having asus m2n68-am plus mobo. So i went to mobo bios to adjust the settings there but i'm stuck, all i see there mobo is showing my 3tb hard drive as 800gb and i don't see any options to change that (or i don't know how). Please help. Is my mobo causing the problem and can i fix that?
