Add 2x4 gb Ram to 1x8 gb ram

So i recenlty build up a pc.My mobo is MSI B350 PCMATE and i have installed a 1x8 Corsair Vengeance 2400MHz and my friend gifted me some ram as well 2x4 gb Hyper X fury 2400MHz aswell. Can i put them all together or not?

If you google the specs. of that board you will see dual channel. That means two modules work in tandem so it offers the stated speed. That single stick will run at half speed because it doesn't have a partner to work with. Because they all weren't purchased together in one package as a kit they may or may not work together.

I would install them in the first three slots. If it doesn't work you can try a cmos reset(Google is your friend). No guarantees. You and I know that's not an optimal solution.
